Let me tell you a little bit about what I do for living since 2014, what my title means and how we do business and only than you can decide if I might be able to help you with your immigration queries to Canada or who knows to may be suggest a more suitable country if Canada is not the right place to move right now.

My name is Nancy Awwad, I am a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant ( RCIC) a member in good standing of The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants ( CICC).

I am a Canadian Citizen, who immigrated to Canada with my family in 2008. I am fully bilingual ( French and English ) I was born in Lebanon so I speak Arabic as well.

My practice is located in Ottawa, Ontario ( we are in the process of opening a practice in Toronto to be able to assist more international students and new comers there too) and I work remotely out of Dubai, UAE at the moment.

How do you know if what I am telling you is true? Well here you go do this for anyone who tells you he will charge you a fee to give you advice about immigration:

1- always go to the website of the regulatory body where someone is claiming that he is a member in and check if their licence is active if they are on leave of absence or if they are no longer in practice.

2- when you meet with them know that they are required to send you an offer your initial consultation agreement and therefore they are going to ask you to send them your mailing address and a copy of your passport or anyone else’s passport that is going to be included in your consultation.

3- we are like lawyers paid a retainer ( when you decide to work with us ) and we charge an hourly fee ( usually a lot less than what a lawyer would charge) but to be fair I have met very successful specialized immigration consultants who charge as much as a lawyer would because of the level of experience they have reached 🙏

4- we are mainly based in canada with a little few regulated who work permanently from their firms located outside Canada ( at the time of writing this I am actually residing in Dubai where my husband and daughter live)

5- we are allowed to have agents ( agents are basically located outside Canada) these agents are supposed to only advertise for our services and never do any assessments or take any case without us first assessing the applicant and approving the case . Therefore and just in case you came to know about any RCIC because the agent told you he is working with them ask for the RCIC full name and email address and contact them directly, asking them all the questions you want to ask directly before you sign a retainer with an agent ( which is not legal) your retainer should be with the immigration consultant directly.

6- Out retainers ( these are like contracts but with a set fee that needs to be paid before you start working with us) are drafted specifically to meet the need of what you are retaining us about. They will include our address ( please check that out online before you send any money) our full name and our RCIC number ( go to the website of CICC and look for find my consultant and find us there )

7- our retainer will include exactly how many hours we are estimating we will need to work on your file and we will ask you to pay us upfront and we will be billing you ( sending you invoices in the future for the money that we have used from your post paid money ) before we pay ourselves . So your money that you will pay us initially is going to go to a separate bank account ( a client account ) like an ( escrow account ) we will pay ourselves what ever becomes due and will send you the necessary documentation showing you what you have been charged for.

8- I am sure you are wondering if we do refunds, yes we do send you any unused money back. Although few are the cases where we have the perfect client, that client who has already done his due diligence read all the necessary documentations available online, gathered all the documents and took note when we first met with them and explained what will happen next.

This type of customer will be charged a lot less than the person who will need to be reminded consequently about what they need to do  and why they need to do so.

9- be sure that you are doing the right thing for yourself and your family and do not waste your time delaying the process if this is really what you want to do next for you and for your loved ones.

10- For your consultation please drop me an email in english or French only. Because Arabic although is a language I speak, it is not a language that will allow you to immigrate to canada. So let’s start the process right if you are to write to me please make sure you will write in the 2 languages that you will be tested about in order to immigrate to Canada.

My email is  nancy@aaiis-aasii.com, I look forward to hearing from you.

Why people choose Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants

We would like to remind you that only some people can charge a fee or receive any other type of payment to represent or advise you on a Canadian immigration proceeding or application. These are:

##Lawyers and paralegals who are members in good standing of a Canadian provincial or territorial law society,

##Notaries who are members in good standing of the Chambre des notaires du Québec and

##Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants who are members in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants .

These people are called “authorized” representatives. CICC will not deal with representatives who charge for their services and are not members of one of the above groups.
